  • The system employs a specially designed mobile applicator attached to a robotic arm, allowing the laser beam to be delivered close to the eye. This design minimizes environmental influences and enhances treatment accuracy.

  • Utilizing a randomized flying spot pattern, the Micron M7 distributes laser pulses across the entire treatment zone from the outset. This approach reduces thermal impact on the stroma, minimizing the risk of haze in surface ablation procedures like PRK and Epi-LASIK.

  • The applicator operates at an 80mm distance from the cornea, creating a defined and clean operating zone that reduces interference from the surrounding environment. An integrated plume removal system efficiently extracts smoke at its densest point, maintaining laser beam quality without affecting stromal hydration.

  • The Micron M7 features a laser head with substantial energy reserves, ensuring a long gas lifetime. Its design generates a small, homogeneous beam that passes through mirrors with low energy density, resulting in reduced optical costs and extended component lifespan.
